Family portraits on 35mm Film photography

Recently, I took a quick trip to Mexico and captured a few cherished family portraits on 35mm film. In doing so, I rediscovered my love for film and the magical, timeless process behind it.

There’s something so special about the anticipation that builds as you carefully carry the film home to be developed. Unlike digital images, the magic of film lies in its slower, thoughtful approach—where each moment is savored and revealed later through the delicate chemical process.

Because of this experience, I’ve decided to return to my original love of film photography and will now be incorporating it into my client sessions. This gives you the opportunity to capture authentic, heartfelt moments—like the connection between a grandmother and her granddaughter—on 35mm film. These generation portraits feel even more meaningful when framed within the timeless quality that only film can provide.

Here’s a glimpse of one of the images I took on my recent trip to see my family. I can’t wait to help you create similarly unforgettable memories.
